Western BMS event “Be-Music West II” has closed.
The total number of impressions for all 15 works was 445. It keeps a high standard of 29.7 votes per entry.
The original Be-Music West had a total of 198 votes out of 17 works and an average of 11.6 votes, so the number of votes increased more than twice.
Let's take a look at various details of BMWest2, which was such a hot topic.
◆ Overall results
First, let's check the result of final score [log10 ([Number Impressions]) x [Average Score]].
The winner was isocosa's “data harm”. Congratulations!
This time, isocosa was ahead of Dolphin in 1st place, but was only 0.28pts difference.
Next is the [Like button] ranking. The first place was "BAILAGUA JIRA" of MITCH DOWNVELL who won over 10000 (!?) Like with an overwhelming difference.
This time, there was no limit on the number of Like buttons per person.
The results are scattered regardless of the final ranking.
Finally, here is the result of the average score, but I omitted it this time because there was not much difference from the final score.
(If you want to know more, please check Dolphin's survey result)

◆ Ranking change
It is the rank change during the tournament. The changes of all 15 works are as follows.
※MITCH1 = JERK FESTIVAL
MITCH2 = BAILAGUA JIRA
isocosa1 = data harm
isocosa2 = No Time 2 Love
On the first day, MITCH and Nakaiankow ranked first, but after that, isocosa and Dolphin have been fighting for the championship. On the 13th day, Dolphin jumped to first place, but finally isocosa turned back.
It can be seen that Nakaiankow, who decided to catch up at the end as well as the first, and CAELUS and 空読無 白眼(kudomu-shirome), who had risen significantly in the late game, continued to fluctuate until the end.
◆ Voting status
As I wrote at the beginning, the average number of votes per entry was about 30. The voting was for 15 works a big success.
The voting results of this event are as follows.
* Black squares represent their own work
* 40 and 80 were the same person
A total of 41 people voted, and 23 people voted for all the works!
Isn't this one of the best in recent years?
The people who have voted for all works are as follows.
Voting was taking place from all directions, east and west.
These people are undoubtedly the merits of this event. Thank you very much!
(^-^)//"" clap clap clap
● Top 5 chosen by all voters
The ranking was created up to 5th with only the votes of those who have voted for all the works.
The champion is immovable, but it is impressive that CAELUS jumped to 2nd place and MITCH DOWNVELL jumped from 10th to 3rd place.
These 5 works are recommended by player who have voted all the works. If you haven't played, check it out.
◆ Included pattern status
Included pattern in 15 works is as follows.
In this event, there was a work that included only 5KEY, and I felt that the ratio of 5KEY was higher than other events. In addition, since there are some rare works who cannot see it at other events, including 10KEY / 24KEY, it may be interesting to play with this opportunity.
The winning "data harm" has many types of patterns, and I think that led to a good evaluation.

◆ To close
“Be-Music West II” is the first BMS event in 2020.
It was a powerful event that gave momentum to the new year.
Speaking of which, most of this blog has been related to Be-Music West ...
I felt sorry for coming out too much, but many BMS artist abroad were so enthusiastic that I wanted to cheer them on and gave me a hand.
I am glad that the number of places where European and American BMS artists are steadily increasing has taken over the flow since Be-Music West was held four years ago.
isocosa, who won this time, is the second title winner following the PABAT!2019 championship.
isocosa will probably be a new age ace.
However, as stated in the comments of the organizers, the next Be-Music West III is not recommended.
The reason is that there is a risk that the "Western BMS artist" will be separated from the BMS community in Asia (Japan and Korea) beyond the language barrier.
Therefore, from now on, it is hoped that the event will be held as a global event with the aim of "international and universal" rather than attracting "Western BMS artists".
(Oh, speaking of international events ... this year's 戦國(Sengoku) international is perfect)
Music games, including BMS, are the world's strongest games that can be enjoyed across language and culture barriers, so it is important to be able to lower barriers outside of the game (introduction and event announcements ...etc...). And it's our theme.
With that in mind, I hope that the BMS community not only in Western and Asia but around the world will be even more excited about mutual assistance.
Thanks to the organizers, operators, participants and players!
